ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK
TAG Heuer is expanding its TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 core collection with the Orange Diver a new watch with a vibrant look that is inspired by the orange diver reference 844, a favourite among collectors.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Orange Diver joins the large Aquaracer Professional 300 collection unveiled in 2021 and shares the same codes as its predecessors: a luxury tool watch that will bring out the adventurous side of every watch enthusiast.
Presented in shortly after the arrive of the first reference 844, a watch which TAG Heuer paid tribute to last year with the initial launch of the Aquaracer Professional 300, the Orange Diver became iconic because of its vibrant tangerine dial and it is now highly desired by collectors.
Orange has always been an important colour for those who are close to the water, so it is not surprising that when Heuer looked to expand its dive watch range following the successful launch of the reference 844, it would be a strong source of inspiration. Standing out among the traditional austere black dials of wristwatches intended to go below the waves, the vibrant shade of orange has made a number of appearences in the TAG Heuer Diving universe over years, and it’s a pleasure to see it return in the new Aquaracer Professional 300.”
A symbol of safety and security at sea, the strong tone used in the orange of the dial on the latest addition to the Aquaracer family, is prevalent due to its strong contrast against the blue of the ocean. Orange is also one of the universal color pantones for speed, security and records, used on racing tracks or also on NASA spacesuits.
In terms of design, TAG Heuer Aquaracer Orange Diver has a fine brushed and polished 43mm case in stainless steel with a distinctive orange dial and white tip on the seconds hand. This new piece is made following the same design codes as the Aquaracer Professional 300 range.
The Aquaracer Professional 300 Orange Diver owns the historical collection’s six features. The watch offers a 12-sided uni-directional rotating bezel with a scratch- resistant black ceramic ring, shaped to offer the perfect grip, the crown is protected to avoid any accidental damage and the model is water- resistant to 300 meters.
